The Philippine Truggy Nats, another adventure. Flying into Manila I had an idea the competition would be tough as there are three tracks in the Metro Manila area: QC Circle, Sonic Boom and the venue for the race The Junkyard, meaning plenty of hot shot competitors.
The Junkyard track was beautifully presented by track owner Rico, however intermittent showers made setup of my XRAY XT8 difficult, in the end gambling for it to rain really effected the speed in the final as the track continued to dry.

After qualifying 4th for the hour long A main a nice steady clean drive resulted in 2nd at the flag, the XRAY XT8 performing faultlessly.

I would like to mention all the great people I met in particular Emerlito who ran the event and the crew from Sonic Boom, Clint, Kerwin, Bobby, Kenta, also Donjie, Ralph, Jordan, Louie and my pit man Benji as well as the other great guys I got to race with.
